FOUR & MORE: Best Inland Area DLs

1. Kylie Fitts, Redlands East Valley — Already committed to USC on scholarship, Fitts (6-foot-5, 263 pounds) is one of the best defensive prospects to ever emerge from the Inland Area. His issue now is playing well while avoiding injury.

2. Joe Mathis, Upland — Playing all over the field in order to give recruiters a real good look, this 6-foot-4, 250-pound is best suited to hammering ball carriers and reeking havoc in opponents’ backfields.

3. Sal Cena, Riverside Norte Vista — Applying his skills to multiple positions, Cena (6-foot-3, 220 pounds) leaves opponents wondering about licence plate numbers because a truck just hit them.

4. Kaleb Wezdenko, Yucca Valley Joshua Springs — Led all juniors in CIF-Southern Section with 23.5 sacks in 2011. Wezdenko (6-foot-1, 295 pounds) also does the kicking for the Lightning, the CIF-SS Eight-Man champions.

AND MORE: Tyler Cook, Vista Murrieta — Probably best suited to defensive end, this 6-foot-4, 210-pound junior flies to the football for the defending champs.

Ritisoni Fata, Redlands East Valley — Benefitted from playing alongside Fitts, posting seven sacks as a 6-foot-2, 250-pound junior last season.

Adrian Rodriguez, Chino — This 6-foot-3, 293-pound steamroller had 9.5 sacks last season for the Cowboys
