1ST HALF — WEEK 5

1. Visalia (22-9) — Rawhide finding right pace (.710 win pct.) to run away with North.

2. Rancho Cucamonga (22-10) — Quakes’ CF Kyle Garlick (.336 BA, 8 HRs) first half POY?

3. High Desert (21-11) — Mavericks got beat up at home by Visalia and Rancho Cucamonga.

4. San Jose (17-12) — Giants starting to play at a clip that can keep them contending.

5. Stockton (14-17) — Ports have plenty of guys who get on base, lack power production.

6. Lake Elsinore (14-18) — Storm’s 3.31 team ERA leads league so why aren’t they better?

7. Modesto (12-19) — Nuts pitching staff has worked more (289.2 IP) than any other.

8. Bakersfield (12-19) — Blaze hustling, played three one-run games at Rancho Cucamonga.

9. Lancaster (11-18) — JetHawks’ team ERA (5.82 in 251.1 IP) simply won’t get it done.

10. Inland Empire (10-22) — Sixers wasting season from RF Caleb Adams (.340 BA, 5 3Bs).
