GAME OF THE WEEK: Arlington at Ramona

THE DETAILS:
Riverside Arlington vs. Riverside Ramona
CIF-Southern Section – Week 3
At Riverside (Calif.) Ramona HS
Kickoff: 7 p.m. PT on Friday, Sept. 16

RIVERSIDE ARLINGTON (3-0 overall, 0-0 Inland Valley) is off to one of its strongest starts in recent memory, pummeling Perris (42-20) in its opener before slipping past Pomona in double overtime (28-22) in Week 1 and putting the clamps on Temescal Canyon (15-3) last week. Senior RB Jamon McGlory is getting a boatload of touches through three games (92) and has rushed for six TDs and more than 450 yards. Senior LB/DE Louie Sistos has been a force in both games he’s played this season, and leads the team with two sacks and four tackles for loss, and senior RB/WR Nate Guerrero is proving to be a valuable two-way player.
HEAD COACH: Rich Lunsford

RIVERSIDE RAMONA (2-1 overall, 0-0 River Valley) was feeling pretty good after back-to-back wins over San Bernardino Indian Springs (28-13) and Rialto (27-12) to begin the year, but the Rams suffered their first setback with a 37-20 loss at Fontana last week. Senior RB Isaiah Baker has been a punishing force on the offensive side of the ball, delivering seven rushing TDs and more than 400 rushing yards so far. Junior QB Brandon Osayande has completed a little less than half his pass attempts (21 of 47) in his first year under center.
HEAD COACH: Ken Mushinskie
