Norco senior Julian Medina has been selected InlandFieldhouse.com’s Player of the Week after a shiny performance as the Cougars beat Roosevelt, 55-14, in a CIF-Southern Section Week 0 nonleague game on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026.
Medina completed 20 of 23 pass attempts for 408 yards and five touchdowns in the season opener for the Cougars (1-0 overall), who look like one of the top offensive teams in the Inland area this season.
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Medina set Norco’s single-season passing yards record (3,164) last season.
